What it publishes
India Hood is a digital news publisher that works in two languages at once. Every part of the operation exists twice, once in Bengali and once in English, and the two portals are aimed at different reading habits rather than one audience translated twice.[1][4]
The Bengali portal, indiahood.in, carries news, politics, entertainment and regional reporting with West Bengal at the centre, including district-level stories that larger national outlets rarely carry.[1][5]
The English portal, indiahood.com, is aimed at professionals, entrepreneurs and readers outside Bengal, and its coverage leans towards business, startups, technology and policy.
